April 2: The day started as I was falling to sleep at midnight. At 2am we got a wake up when the fire alarm was going off and telling us to evacuate the building.....twice. I never made it fully outside becuase some of the staff said someone on the floor below ours burnt popcorn. Don't they know there are 51 women trying to get their beauty sleep. LOL!! At 4am their was another wake up when my roomates clothes rack masteriously fell to the floor. We are wondering if their are ghosts at the resort. ??? You never know it is over 150 years old.....Another two hours of rest and then it was time to get ready for the day. This was our first rehearsal. Boy, was it a workout. After several hours of learning dance moves we had lunch and just enough time to change clothes to go over to the fitness center to film and take photos. After that it was time to go back to the hotel, change clothes and go shopping to take more pictures and video for the pageant.
We had a "Ocean" themed dinner. It was a huge seafood buffet. I had lobster and crab and it was delicious. The food, accomodations and the staff here are all GREAT!!
